Durable Construction

For optimal temperature retention, the entire cabinet utilizes foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. This item requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
1/3 hp Compressor
The 1/3 hp compressor not only draws in cooler air for energy efficiency, but also raises the bottom shelf, so you don’t have to bend as much during loading and unloading. It circulates R290 refrigerant. This specialized refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3, making it an environmentally-responsible choice for your business. Also, this unit has an automatic defrost cycle, so your staff doesn’t need to spend valuable time clearing out ice.
Digital Temperature Control
Digital temperature control allows you to easily adjust the temperature of your refrigerator's cabinet within its 33 to 40 degree Fahrenheit range. The controller is preprogrammed to keep the unit in the safety zone (below 41 degrees) to avoid any issues with health inspectors. Plus, the unit will automatically defrost 4 times a day to keep food fresh and properly chilled. The clear LCD readout also helps keep track of the unit’s temperature.
Corrosion-Resistant Shelves
For convenience, three epoxy-coated shelves, which hold up to 88 lb. each, feature shelf clips for customization when desired. These adjustable shelves are coated with plastic to help keep out moisture and resist corrosion and rusting. Each unit comes with 3 shelves and 12 shelf clips, allowing you to place your shelves exactly where you need them to accommodate your small or large food products.

How do I correctly install the shelves into this unit?
To promote proper air flow through your Avantco unit, please ensure that the wire ledges on the shelves are positioned toward the back of the unit. These ledges help keep enough space between your product and the back wall so that cold air can adequately circulate through the cabinet. Incorrectly installing the shelf ledges can restrict airflow, causing the temperature in the bottom of your unit to rise.
How do I remove my equipment from the pallet?
If your unit has pre-installed casters, it may be secured directly to the pallet for safe transport. To remove it safely, tilt the unit slightly to one side and use a wrench or socket set to loosen the bolts attaching it to the pallet. In some cases, you may need to pry up a pallet plank with a hammer to access the bolts or to release casters nested within the pallet base. The unit arrived covered entirely in cardboard, plastic and stryrofoam. I signed for it because there was no damage whatsoever to any of the packaging. After unwrapping the multiple layers of packing...I found several large dents in very noticeable areas all around it. This could only mean that the fridge was dented BEFORE it was wrapped! Completely unacceptable.
Now, I'm stuck with a brand new heavily-dented fridge that I cannot return to the carrier since we signed for it. I am so frustrated that I paid good money for a brand new fridge and it looks like crap! Not the first time I have received a faulty brand new Avantco fridge either. This will be my last Avantco product I ever order!
The fridge works okay, but there is a massive interior fan that takes up 8 inches of space all the way across the top.

Dead on arrival. Instead of expediting a replacement, Webstaurant is making me file a warranty claim. I should have read the terrible reviews more carefully. Having been a Webstaurant customer for 10 years, I would have expected them to prioritize taking care of a customer over helping a supplier leave me holding the bag. So, don't buy this fridge, and don't buy one from Webstaurant--there are obviously better options out there on both fronts.

We had high hopes for this fridge. It worked great for about three months. At that point we removed everything, and turned it off to wipe down the walls and clean the shelves. When turned back on, it has not worked the same since. It now can not cool past 60 degrees. We took great care of the fridge, followed all the set up requirements. Had it far enough from a wall, etc. We reached out to support. They immediately sent us to a warranty company saying they can't do anything. Was extremely unhelpful. We now don't have a working fridge. I have all my produce that's dead as a result. And we have to wait an unknown amount of time to get real help. If you are in the market for a fridge, shop elsewhere. You'll want somewhere that doesn't sell garbage and then outsource the support on it
We are reconsidering our other supply needs as a result. Don't do business with companies that don't offer real support
