What is the best way to clean and care for my wooden item?
All wood products should be hand washed. The heat and chemicals of a dishwasher are harmful to wood’s naturally porous texture. Then, apply the wood conditioner with a soft cloth or paper towel. Once the conditioner has soaked into the item, buff off any excess with a clean cloth. The Tablecraft Bread/ Charcuterie Board with Knife Slot- 13 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 3/4" is a great quality cutting board. It is heavy weight and very durable. It is the perfect size for cutting small loaves of bread and appetizers. It is great for everyday use and the price is great. I would recommend this.
This is a terrible board. When I opened the package I thought the wood looked dry and it had a little gouge in the center of the board (and it was packaged that way). Decided the little gouge wasn't going to hurt anything and washed and dried the board. When I applied mineral oil to it to condition the wood there suddenly appeared a large patch in the wood near the handle neck. Looked like someone stuck gum in it--but I suppose it was wood filler. I will never buy Table Craft again since they deliberately sold a patched board. Webstaurant, as always, provided great customer service and I was credited the cost of this throw-away board.

This is a great board for bread. It has a slot for a knife which is handy. I like to use it for cracker and cheese too

Fantastic quality board with nice grain and easy to keep clean if you wash it right away. Handle is easy to move around and good size for fruits and veggies! So far no cracking at all!
I bought this to use as a small cutting board. The handle is nice but everything is pretty rough. It could use a sanding. I've applied mineral oil to it (5-6 coats so far) which has helped a bit.
