Garde HP1416 High-Output 1/4 lb. and 1/6 lb. Hamburger Patty Molding Press

This is a great press, and once you get the rhythm down, you can really crank the patties. Unfortunately, it has a design flaw that hinders longevity in a high volume burger joint. We do roughly 300 patties per day, and we go through these presses about every 6-7 months. The armature is held in the upward position by a razor thin piece of the material the press is cast in - which will wear down after 30,000 patties. If this material extended a mere 1/16” of an inch, it would greatly increase the life of these presses. Other than that, this is an excellent patty press.

I love this product it's an amazing help and makes life in burgers so much easier only reason it's not five stars is the automatic flip out thing didn't work but I took off the spring and it's just as easy to flip em out with a quick swipe of my hand or finger love it

This hamburger patty press is lightweight, yet durable for pressing a large amount of patties. The adjustable size makes it convenient for changing burger sizes.

We have used this kinda machine since 1978! If you use the clear sheet at the top bar it works a lot better! Also you can preload your patty paper and goes a lot quicker!

Very bad. it doesn't make the patty round and look good. Very regret that I bought this one. wasted my time and money! Do not recommend

We use this patty Molding press to make all our hamburgers. It is built very well and is very good quality. I would recommend it.

I absolutely love this press! Once you know exactly where to lay the meat down i get a perfect patty every time. i scale my burgers to 4oz and the way it presses the meat there is just the shrinkage of the fat but it doesn't turn out into a big thick ball when its done cooking. Great for flat top griddles or fry pan.

This works really well for shaping burgers. We like that we can get fresh ground beef in and press our own patties. It makes the perfect size for two thin patties per burger. Inexpensive fast way to press patties.

Works well and as designed. We have pressed 1000's of burgers with this before needing a replacement. Decided to upgrade to larger Garde model HDHP12 because we had such success with this unit. Order some extra plastics if it sees much use tho!

I have bought a lot of kitchen products I love, but not this press. You don’t get an even patty period, the top part of the press swivels when it should not so your patty gets slammed sideways. I am better off with my old slower version. The press maybe heavy duty but it’s best use is a paperweight. Seriously junk. Oh and once you try it, ie open the box, try it and discover it’s a crap design, you can’t return it so BUYER BEWARE

We use this to make sausage patties and it has worked very well. Much easier than shaping by hand and saves us a ton of time!

This press has worked wonders. Its increased our production of perfectly formed patties. I would suggest getting wax papers with the holes already punched. You could make the holes yourself. Very easy to clean and durable. Been using for months and for the price has been a sound investment.

Love, love this product!!! You need the papers to help make your patties. Easy cleanup. Once we got the system down we make awesome size patties.

Great Press! you can really crank out the patty's with this, SO much better then a hand press and they come out on the paper sheets ready to go!

Takes a little getting used to to get the best results. One thing is positioning your meat properly. If you don't, then it ends up squishing out one side and you end up with a funky patty. The other is the adjustment for the release. There is a little spring and screw that determines where the release bar will land. If it is off, then you have to flip it under the plastic slip sheet with your other hand. Not the end of the world, but takes some messing with to get it right. You also need the patty papers with the holes in it. If you try to use regular patty paper, it will just slide around and won't release properly. We made do by just tearing holes in regular patty paper one at a time, but do yourself a favor and get the stuff with the holes. Other than those minor issues, this will crank out some well formed patties pretty quickly for a cheap price.

Very well made, sturdy great to make a perfect burger being consisten and quick. Does not come with patty papers, you have to order that separate from this website.

This was my first time trying this burger press and I loved it. Tighr burgers and easy to use. Gotta get the hang of it but once you to the output is fast.

Ive used this quite a bit. I make my own deer burger and after the first 5 patties it was on. ( yeah the first 5 patties I made were pretty rough looking) I had my daughter with the portion scoop putting on the meat and then I would press May be the 1 star user wasn't using the papers, because I consider this thing wonderful. And when I use it I usually press out about 40 to 50 patties if not more. I actually came back to order more of the plastic liners. But you need a consistent portion on the paper, because you use the same pressure every time and if the meat amount is not consistent, then you might get rough looking patties.

Horrible Item, tried many times to get it to press a good burger but just wont do it. Tried 4oz and 2.2 oz, doesn't press well, burgers shrink drastically and separate badly. I wouldn't recommend this Item for any use. Would have gave it zero stars if that was an option.
