This Vollrath CRA-32 Traex® full-size beige open extender with closed sides offers versatility for your warewashing system! Use it to quickly and easily change the height of your Vollrath glass racks (sold seperately) and allow them to hold a different size and type of glass or open racks to add height for larger dishes. The closed sides ensure the safety of your items during the cleaing and storage process. It also provides optimal protection against dirt, germs, bacteria, and pests. The closed sides provide your staff the opportunity to use glasses or stored dishes between events without also having to rewash them.
Built to last in your commercial establishment, this rack extender features a co-polymer plastic construction to provide chemical, impact, and heat resistance, It is safe up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Using an extender with your racks is an economical way to expand your warewashing capabilities by using the glass racks you already have. This extender fits all full-size Vollrath Traex® glass racks and adds up to 1 9/16" to the overall height of your glass rack.
Should I buy glass racks that match the diameter of my glasses, or should I buy the next size up?
Since glassware can have slight size variances, it is a good idea to buy glass racks with compartments slightly larger than the maximum diameter of the glasses.
What is the difference between closed and open glass racks?
Open glass racks are designed to have openings on the sides of the racks, allowing for better washing and faster drying in your dish room. Closed glass racks feature solid, enclosed sides, which provide protection for your glassware from dust and bacteria. Closed racks are best used for storage and transportation to events.
