Vollrath 38117 ServeWell® Electric Three Pan Hot Food Table 208/240V - Sealed Well

Weve had this unit for over a year now and no issues. Warning lights work as they are supposed to and provides all day heat (9 hours) without having to refill as often as others. Definitly glad we went with this unit.

This was a great buy. The price was unbeatable. This has been a great addition. Works excellent.. Its was easy to install although very heavy.. It keeps my food at desired temps...no worries love this table. Five star easy hands down!!

We use this at the front end of our restaurant. This adds a new dimension for our offerings and allows us to maintain a dynamic menu.

We received quotes from several vendors on the exact same model from webstaurant store. Price was substantially less. Good quality. Definitely happy with the 5 wells.

We started using the 2 hot food tables we purchased on 12/3/2023. We have a Mexican food restaurant in San Antonio; Texas and the 2 tables are used in the 2 lines we have to serve dine in and to go areas. We were very pleased with the 5 well electric Vollrath steam table we had at the other location from 8/21/2008 to 8/31/2022. Very reliable and very little maintenance. We changed out the power cord and thermostat in the 14.5 years we were there. After the 1-year warranty we started having issues with both tables. First repair 1/4/2025 due to heating element gaskets warped and a water well was cracked and leaking water onto the electronics causing breaker to trip. Repair cost labor and materials $. Too make a long story short, over the next 19 months from 1/4/25 to 8/2/26 we have spent money in labor and parts to keep both hot food tables working. Don't know if this is a common repair cost after warranty expires, but it seems a bit expensive. Owner of Mexican food restaurant for 18.5 years.

Worst product I have ever bought. 2 wells have never worked, has had warranty out 3 times in 2 months and cant fix it.

Very happy with this purchase! It works great and keeps our food warm. It's easy to know when to add water with the light on the front which is very nice. The only complaint I have is the drain levers leaked but we were able to get it to stop.

Gets really hot works great

So far its nice except we cant use it due to the strange plug it comes with. It says it draws 17.5 amps but it comes with a 30amp, non-standard plug so we will need an electrician to install a new circuit before we can use it. Look carefully at the description. Its says 12Volt so I assumed it would plug into a standard 20amp outlet.

Steam well is awesome. It helped us ramp up our capacity and serve more guests with more efficiency. It holds heat well. Is fairly easy to clean as well.

Works great, low water light is nice! Has an odd plug though, make sure to look into that first, we ended up having to wait to install due to this, even though it is listed in the description and I overlooked it! Overall a great product!

The shipment came at the exact expected delivery date. The items were not damaged. The item was exactly what we are looking for! Keeps our food at a perfect sanitary heat for our guest! Amazing! Works perfect for our needs!

Good design! Great price. Vollrath makes a great piece of equipment. Replaced a built in unit with this model and could not be happier. Highly recommend.
