The Nuova Simonelli MDXS espresso grinder is the perfect solution for your high-output coffee shop or restaurant. It features a specialized micrometric grind adjustment system to give you infinite control over grind settings to get the precise grind that you need every time. With a 3.5 lb. capacity bean hopper, continue to make as much product as possible for your busy coffee shop or restaurant without worrying about long wait times for your customers. It is recommended to use a maximum of 8 lb. of beans a day in this grinder.
The grinder features silent technology, which allows it to operate at a high volume without the worry of excess noise. To use, simply flip the on / off switch. This grinder is able to hold the portafilter while it is dosing, so you can easily focus on other tasks during the grinding process. Its durable stainless steel 65 mm burrs allow you to grind up to 1500 lb. of coffee before needing replacement, and its die-cast aluminum frame ensures both durability and reliability for long-lasting use. This grinder requires a 110V electrical connection for operation.

BIG disappointment. If you spend a lot on a grinder, you don't expect to be on the phone multiple times within the first week, taking verbal instructions on how to unscrew all the different parts and try to fix it yourself after just a HALF day of use in your shop. I honestly don't even care if it starts working again after we're done with it--it won't change my opinion of it! Why are we fixing a brand new expensive machine ourselves with just normal use?? Upon talking to them, the rep did not seem at all surprised by what we were describing and explained that some models actually have a safety switch to prevent what had happened to us (the motor simply stopped....in the middle of a huge rush at our shop of course....day one of use....). Like the other review. It worked great for a few days and then the motor stopped. I cleaned all the beans out and it worked again for a few days now during our rush hour its down again. Its a piece of junk and the manufacture should be ashamed for making such garbage.

I do not recommend buying it. It is bad and you cannot control the amount of coffee that comes out of it. I do not recommend it or any product from Simonelli. The after-sales service is very, very bad.
