These plates look and feel great for being melamine. We serve sushi on the plates and the food really pops against the black slate. I bought melamine to keep from having to throw away chipped china. I hope these stand up to the test of time.

This faux slate melamine tray is great. I use it as cheese boards. It is lightweight and well finished. However, it is not easy to clean and will leave marks.
We just got these displays in, and put them right to work. They looked great on the bruschetta bar that did for a wedding the other day.
