EcoBurner EB18999 Details
For a low-maintenance buffet solution, choose this EcoBurner EB18999 adjustable radiant heat can for EcoServe by Eastern Tabletop! The tedious upkeep of a buffet can be a challenge, especially when it comes to continuous refilling, retaining a steady temperature, and avoiding burn damage. This EcoBurner is compatible with EcoServe GN and Round waterless chafers and eliminates the need for high-maintenance water and single-use fuel sources. It uses up to 75% less carbon than alternative chafer heating sources and leaves no residue on cookware. As a rapid-heating, adjustable, non-electric heat source that warms up in less than 10 minutes, it can burn for up to 5 hours when used on the MAX setting and 7.5 hours on the reduced setting. It is windproof and it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use! Plus, this sustainable burner eliminates the close proximity of open chemicals near food.
The EcoBurner will reduce workplace injuries and ensure a safer work environment. Staff will no longer be exposed to toxic fumes, work with hot burners, or carry around hot water. The EcoBurner will prevent burns since it is always cool to the touch. It automatically shuts off when tipped over, or in the case of overheating. Additionally, the recyclable EcoBurner is refillable with a compatible EcoBurner butane and propane mixture (sold separately) and it does not waste any fuel, whereas wick or gel options are single-use only. To use, rotate the handle anti-clockwise to the MAX position. Position the EcoBurner on a level surface and use a lighter or matches to light it. Be sure to allow 1 minute for the head to turn orange before moving it into place, and 15 minutes to cool down after each use. Store the can upside down if full, and the correct way up if it needs refilling. Use the EcoBurner with the EcoBoost max and mini (sold separately) to convert your traditional chafers to waterless chafers. The design and idea is great. However I do not think the information regarding the time they last listed is accurate. For instance today I had an event where they ran for 3 hours and used up about half of the fuel. This would not bother me as much if the fuel was cheaper. Iit goes quicker than you think and cost is rather high.
