Sadly these pans are not 9" square pans, despite the name of the product. These might well work for 8" aluminum pans for baked goods, but I can report that the recipe for coffee cake I just used baked out over the top of the cake pan. I made measurements in advance and then placed this foil cake pan on a "real" cake pan to provide support, and to prevent the batter from making quite a mess in the oven.
This was quite successful, but in the future, I will need to seek out recipes that are designed for 8" square pans or scale down the recipes to use all 500 of these 9" square foil cake pans.
Thus far, these pans have worked when used for recipes designed for 8" square pans, but this wasn't the intended purpose.

I was disappointed to discover that these pans are not actually 9x9. I know some cake pans aren't exactly 9x9, but I specifically chose these ones because in the product details section, it says the width is 9 inches. In actuality, the bottom width is 7.5 inches and the top width is just under 8.5 inches. I don't have time to wait for new pans to come in before my production deadlines, so I'm having to adjust the recipe that was going to go into these pans, since I was expecting to have 81 square inches of pan space, and I now only have 49 square inches.

I REALLY NEED MANAGEMENT TO LOOK AT THIS AND NOT A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE!
So, I am writing you again and very dissatisfied with the "new" box of pans I received. Maybe this note needs to go to a higher level than [a Customer Solutions Representative] answering this. She suggested that I need to purchase a "name brand" called BAKERS LANE. So, this delivery I took her advice, and this is what I received in return. No way was this a "specific" brand and the packing was absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed and I have no idea there is 500 pans in there. If so, remarkable. What now? I want a SEALED BOX FROM BAKERS LANE; that is what I paid for!!! I need to use these this weekend. The last response from [redacted] is no way Customer Service!

These pans work wonderfully for me! I have no complaints. We bake different kinds of our cakes in them and then they are placed inside of a window box that is 9 inches and my guess is that the pan needs to be a little under 9 inches especially at the top rim in order to fit the box for my needs so this works well for me.
They are also very reasonably priced. I really love these pans and 500 lasts a good while in my bakery.
