AvaMix Apex HBX1000 48 oz. 3 1/2 hp Programmable Commercial Blender with Touchpad and Sound Enclosure - 120V

Very let down with this purchase. Blender is not user friendly at all, as it turns itself off constantly. It is also super bulky, and nowhere close to being comparable to the Hamilton Beach HBH 950. I'm beyond dissapointed with this product, and want to send it back.

I regret not buying this as on one of my initial investment when i opened our tea shop. We serve milkshakes and slushiess and have been using an Avamix blender. It serves the purpose for our drinks but it was noisy and feels like too much every time we use it. Now that we have this, smoothies and slushies are my favorite to make. I would buy again for our back up.

I own a coffee shop restaurant that serves smoothies, frozen coffee drinks, milkshakes etc. I have one of these as my primary blender and it handles 95% of the workload. Purchased in November 2021 and it has ripped through thousands of beverages without an issue. I'm about to purchase another for my second location and make the old one the secondary/backup blender. It also handles frozen fruits milkshakes . We do all our frozen drinks in 16oz size only and this machine can do three at a time (make sure you have that lid on tight!). Taking apart for cleaning takes a few minutes, but is not bad at all. Does not require any tools. Customers love it as the older blenders made too much noise

While this blender works to make drinks and is pretty quiet with the lid, it is extremely difficult to program any of the buttons. We finally just decided we had to hit buttons, stand their and wait to see if the drinks come out to the right consistency, instead of hitting a button and letting it doing it to the proper setting that we want.

This blender is TERRIBLE. We purchased 1 to test and had no issues so we initiated a purchase for 15 locations. Within 30 days 5 of the blenders had broken and Avamix and Webstaurant are unwilling to help as we are a Canadian customer. I would warn anyone thinking of purchasing to RETHINK the purchase. Spend on the Waring or Vitamix option because Avamix will not hold up.

We love the ease of blending frappes and frozen drinks. It’s great for our shop.

There's a flaw in the design of this product. The screw on the bottom that holds the spinning part in place comes loose when we make shakes. We tried replacing that part and it didn't help at all. This is not the case with the BX1000 -- which is also cheaper. The problem is the BX1000 doesn't have the cover like this one does so it's much louder.

We purchased this blender last August to mix smoothies and thus far it has worked fairly well. I dropped the lid yesterday and the ears on the clear plastic piece of the lid broke off, so it won't lock into the cover. Today was chatting with a member of your customer service team and they are telling me I need to purchase the entire container. There has to be a way one could just purchase the clear lid. Additionally, I now see the new unit comes with 2 Jars, however mine only came with 1 Jar. I have model number 928HBX1000.
