Great quality paper. The coated side really helps protect meat in the freezer. We've used it for a lot of meat and much of it is still in good shape after over a year in the freezer. Even though it's coated, double wrap for the best results!
I used this to wrap up and store bulk ribs I got on sale in smaller pieces. It protects better than plastic from freezer burn but it isn't as water tight so you will have to wrap in multiple layers. It's also easier than plastic bags for labeling purposes.
This is great quality freezer paper, the 12 to 15 month freezer rating works great for wild game, very pleased with the way it works.
